Coach Ottis graduated from Brien McMahon High School where he lettered in Football and Basketball and was named All-State 2 consecutive years during his junior and senior seasons. He then went on to Hofstra University where he started 3 years at Wide Receiver and was named Team Captain for the Hofstra Football team his senior year. Upon graduation Lewis spent time in NFL camps with the New York Jets and New York Giants (and also volunteered in Play60 programs with other pro athletes), before signing a year later with the Bloomington Extreme of the Indoor Football League. Lewis also spent time with a minor league football program in Pennsylvania (Chambersburg Cardinals) earning All-American First team and post season awards after winning a National Championship in 2011. During his time in Pennsylvania he also volunteered with local youth athletes and trained other professional athletes. Lewis has spent the past 4 years working in Juvenile Services and looks to continue to make an impact in his community by being a leader and positive role model to the youth.
